It was already last period, and so far, the day had blurred by. Now homework was on it's way, after the first few days of school. The students had had time to get used to their surroundings, but now everbody was settled down, they were ready to get their head down to work. Well at least some of them were. A light mist was still occupying the air, and had been since this morning, and the night before. Fall was moving on, and winter was on it's way. The days had become shorter, and the nights dragged on forever, giving her more time to curl up in her bed, and study.

Bianca seemed to be the first in the classroom; even the teacher wasn't here yet. She pulled out her schedule from the left pocket in her jeans. The pants were so umcomfortable, why did she even have them? Her mother bought everything for her, without her decision. It was usually these stupid designer labels that made them so expensive. Who spends $200 on a pair of jeans anyway? She loved her mother, but sometimes she took things a little too far. Her black flats slapped the ground as she walked over to a desk beside the window. She usually day dreamed during math class, since she knew this course, and was repeating it again. She'd done it the previous year, as she was taking grade 11 calculus.

She fixed the black sweater that covered her curves. She was having an 'emo' day today, feeling a little under the weather. She missed her family terrible, and her friends too. She pulled a binder from her shoulder bag, and set it on the desk. 'MATHS' was scribbled diagonally across the front of it, in blue marker. Opening the binder, she pulled a scribbler from it. She looked up at the blank board, waiting for the teacher to enter through the doorway. She felt silly sitting here by herself, but she reassured herself, someone would show up soon enough. Tapping her flats against the floor in a simple pattern, she returned her gaze to out the large window, watching leaved fall to the ground. They were almost bare, she noted, and the wind was blowing hard.
