Hayley put her hands on her hips and surveyed the area. The school hadn't really given them a good place to practice. If it weren't for the football players on the only field with a track around it she would have held practice there. Well that and the football coach often let her know, quite rudely, that the cheerleaders were just distracting and they needed to stay away from the football players. Hayley didn't quite understand the whole intensity of the football program, nor why they had to be so aggressive toward the Castle Hill football team but that was not for her to think about. The only thing she needed to worry about was her team. She had to get them prepped and in shape and ready to go. Westfield Academy had never had a fat cheerleader yet and she wasn't about to break that chain.
As she waited for the girls she grabbed a chair and a diet coke and set it in the middle of the field. She'd run a few laps with the girls and then watch them run the rest. Hayley was known to be a hard ass coach but also very understand and fun loving. Compared to what the football team did every day, Hayley didn't think she was very tough at all.
