Chloe walked into her new room. So far she had no room mate. Hopefully she would be able to keep it that way. All it took was a little donation money to convince them that she was allowed a room with no roomie. That would save her quite a bit actually. With no room mate there would be no one to tattle on her when she stayed out late. Or if she happened to come in just a little buzzed. Unless of course she got a room mate and got them to trade with another girl of her choosing. That wouldn't be too hard. It wouldn't take much to get the girl out of the room. All she had to do was make life utterly unbearable for her.. every night. Really that was one of the easiest things in the world to do.
The room was quite large for a dorm room. But then again, this boarding school wasn't cheap. The walls were a plain white. Chloe would fix that though. Two beds were on either side of the room. They were quite large, you could probably fit about two people on them. A desk was next to each bed and a closet at the end of both beds finished the look. The carpet was a beige color. Overall the room could use some fixing up and Chloe was just the girl to do it. But first she wanted to dye her hair. She was tired of this brown color that she had now. It was time to go blonde again. Not a platinum blonde but more of a dirty blonde color.
So she reached into her purse and pulled out the hair dye she had stashed from her mother. Her mother was a freak about hair dye. Never would she let her dye her hair blonde. But her mom wasn't here. So what harm could it do?

Dorm 2

“You. Have. GOT to be kidding me.” A tall blonde girl was standing right inside of the dorm hall, the boy carrying her bags standing next to her, her hands on her hips. Sarah Holmes was just returning back from holiday in Leeds, her hometown in England. It had been a long, but very fun holiday. Roaming the city by day, partying in the underground clubs by night, Sarah wouldn’t have left if it wasn’t for one thing; her obsessive, controlling, hypocritical mother, screaming at her that if she didn’t stop her quote-unquote “destructive habits”, she’d end up an alcoholic out on the streets. Like her mother would have the nerve to kick her out of the house anyways. But really, America wasn’t too bad. In fact, she rather liked it. It reminded her of home, minus the family and her underground music, and twice as many beautiful boys. But as she was told her room assignment, she was stopped cold. “I’m rooming with WHO?” she asked the RA. “Chloe Rose, one of the incoming freshman,” the girl said kindly. Inwardly, Sarah started to seethe, but it was not noticeable to anyone around her, because a bright smile lit onto her face. “Oh, thank you, I just cannot wait to meet her!” she said, her Yorkshire accent coming through easily. She loved how different her voice was from everyone else, it made her stand out even more. Today she was wearing a very simple belted white dress, her heels clicking softly against the floor. She had to admit, though, she’d miss her old roomie. They’d been good friends, and was always a riot to be around. Too bad she’d been caught having sex with her boyfriend. That was one rule strictly enforced at Westfield - if you were caught fooling around, you were kicked out. The end. But seriously, did they have to give her a freshman of all people to board with her? If it was one of those annoying, perky ones with their sickly cute little innocent faces, she might just explode. Just as she approached her dorm, she stopped, turned to the her baggage carrier, and said, “Thank you, Matt, I can manage to unpack my bags myself.” With a smile, she waved him off, before nudging the already slightly ajar door open with her toe. The sight was something she did not quite expect. She was expecting, maybe almost hoping, for the room to be in a state of disarray. But of course that would never happen, it was only two weeks into term. But it did seem that some changes had been made to last years décor. It wasn’t completely bad. Had she lucked out…and got a cool freshman? The idea seemed impossible. Without looking, she hoisted one of her bags onto her bed. It was to her surprise there was a dog that yapped at her. She then turned her eyes to a small blonde girl who had just walked in behind her. “I’m guessing you’re Chloe?” she asked the girl, a smile on her face, but a hint of distrust and doubt on it.

Dorm 2

Chloe was in quite a good mood as she jammed out to the radio, shaking her blonde tresses as she put things back to where they had been placed before. With a heave, she finally got her bed back into place, the other one pulled not too far away so that she could have it there in case she wanted it for any reason. The wall was now a delightful shade of dark purple. Royalty, as she saw it. Really, it had turned out better than she had expected. To top it off she had gone to the store and gotten a tiara to place right beside her bed stand. Sure, there were other things like a few see through drapes in a light purple, that off set the room, but a tiara, she would see that first thing in the morning and be reminded just how much of a queen she was. She would remember every morning that she ruled this school and that she didn't have the luxury of mistakes.
The room was almost back in order when she heard a voice above the music. “Thank you, Matt, I can manage to unpack my bags myself.” Her blue eyes flashed as she quickly looked up, trying to see who was there. No, she couldn't have a roommate. Chloe had an empty bedroom, there was only her in it. That was what she wanted to believe but the proof was there. Another blonde had walked into the room, bags in hands. Fuck. Chloe thought eying the girl. Right after she changed everything and got it the way she liked it, now there was another girl coming it. She should have expected it, there was no way that she was going to get lucky enough to have a room all to herself. Now she had a giant blonde chick in her room and she looked like she was here to stay.
Baby yapped as this new intruder came in and Chloe prayed she wouldn't rat her out. The dog was the connection she had to back home and she wasn't going to give her up without a fight. Though the girl didn't seem to notice. Instead, she looked at Chloe and spoke. “I’m guessing you’re Chloe?” Chloe straightened up and walked towards the girl.
"Yah, I'm Chloe." she said smiling and laughing slightly. "This is Baby." The dog yapped again as if to say hello. "Need help with your bags?" Might as well treat her roommate good. She would need that friend connection at points in time, especially if she needed her out of the room. Chloe knew she'd have to extend the same courtesy's but that could all be taken care of in due time. {WIP!}
